At 728 square miles, Maui (known as the Valley Isle) is the second largest island in the State of Hawaii.
The city of
Wailuku (pop. 17,000) is the largest town on Maui and is the seat of the
the County of Maui. The county of Maui also includes the islands of Lanai, Kahoolawe and Molokai.
The highest point on the island is Haleakala (known as the House of the Sun) at 10,023 ft. A highlight of your vacation
will be to see the Sunrise or Sunset at the summit (take warm sweater).

Many of the flora and fauna are unique
to Maui, like this rare Silverwood. The color of the beaches ranges from the normal sandy
to the black lava beaches found on the road to Hana.
