Kamaole Sands Resort is opposite Kamaole III Beach, regarded as one of the best beaches on Maui. Its soft sand and serene waters edge is ideal for the person who enjoys sun bathing, swimming or just going for walks along the beach.

The beach faces west and many an evening I have watched gloroius sunsets over the sea. It is ideal for swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving and whale watching at the right time of the year. Families with children can sit or play in the large park adjacent to the beach.

Kamaole Sands is within easy walking distance of Kihei Town. There you can find many shops and a large variety of American and foreign restaurants catering to all tastes. Among the variety of shops there is a snorkel and diving store a motor cycle rental, an out door flea market and souvenir shops. Walk to Kihei on the beach side of the road and return on the town side of the road.
